Come join us at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex (6255 S. Arndt Rd Canby, OR 97013) for the 1st annual "Cascade Sports Car Club & Friends Karting Social” on Sunday, September 29th for an informal, fun social event where you can test your race craft and see how you really do stack up against the rest!
All the karts are the same so it will be all about figuring out the best line around the track and how to best use your kart in a group. This is NOT your average go-karting facility people…..these are high quality fast and fun machines. 50+ mile per hour open wheel karts on a multi faceted 3/4 mile asphalt race track with banked corners, hairpin turns AND full on open all track passing!!! (this is by FAR the most fun you will have for $28)
This is for BRAGGING RIGHTS boys and girls and guess what????……….THERE WILL BE some PRIZES and TROPHIES for the fastest racers!!!!

Date: Sunday, September 29th, 2024
Time: 11 AM till around 3pm OR whenever we're done
Attire: Dress for racing an open kart and for the weather. Bringing some layers would be best. No open toed shoes or sandals Please see the PARC website for a complete list of rules, https://www.patsacres.com/.
Rental helmets are available at the track but you are encouraged to bring your own helmet.
Barring any seriously inclement weather conditions and unless there is standing pools on the track the Karts will usually run rain or shine. If you have never done it before (racing in the rain is tons of FUN!
Prep: Just like any other race day...be ready to race. These are real racing karts and karting is taxing. The Karts are fast and pull plenty of g’s. Be fed and hydrated, physically and mentally fit and prepped to race!
There is a covered picnic / staging area with tables. You are encouraged to bring your own coolers with drinks and snacks or lunch OR whatever food you would like to have or share with the group (FYI who doesn't love home made chocolate chip walnut cookies)
There are some drinks and possibly snacks for sale at the track
