2025 HPDE / Drivers Training Instructor’s Seminar
Saturday, March 15th, 9:00am at Portland International Raceway
Please join us for the 2025 Cascade Sports Car Club (CSCC) HPDE Instructor’s Seminar. This will be an important event to attend to maintain the quality of our driver training events. We will cover some basic overview material about how our HPDE program is structured and then have an open discussion where everyone shares their best methods for dealing with several common situations (difficult students, too timid/aggressive, etc.).
This event is open to everyone that is intended on continuing as a CSCC HPDE instructor or for those that are interested to joining us as an instructor in 2025.
We will be meeting in the North (inside the track) tower on the 2nd floor. After the meeting, we'll do a track walk to refresh/update cone markers for the upcoming season. Track walk is highly suggested for those who have never walked PIR before.
You do not have to be an existing HPDE instructor nor do you need to be a CSCC member to attend.
Time: Saturday, March 15th, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (9 - 11:30 Meeting, 11:30 - 2:00 track walk)
Location: Portland International Raceway, North Timing and Scoring Tower (cross track at Start/Finish)
Refreshments: Coffee, water, doughnuts, and bagels will be provided
